OUR ROOTS
FABRICATED's roots were born from Calgary fashion designer Brook Fung's desire to have a grass roots fashion event that caters to, and works for, the local designer. Brook's experience stems from designing and showcasing her own fashion line "Peeko Apparel." Realizing Calgary's need to bridge the gap between designer and buyer, FABRICATED was formed to
an incredible first season run. Brook has since relocated "Peeko Apparel" to San Francisco.Enter FABRICATED's new directors Len Mastaler and BR Pirri. Len brings his 10 years experience of owning and directing Calgary's top boutique modeling agency, I Model Management. As well as art directing fashion shoots and commercial projects for many of Calgary's magazines and clients.
BR is known throughout Calgary for her 15 years experience as a premiere host of fashion and fund-raising events. Some of her highlights include Imperial Oil and Calgary Flames wives fund raisers, and on the fashion front she has hosted the Church, myStyle and Sunfest shows. BR currently works as one of Calgary's most diverse fashion stylists, having recently styled the Moxies Restaurants and Ga.Za.Ba Milano campaigns.
